Miel runs scheduled online speed dating evenings for European cities. You book a seat, arrive at the start time, and talk to every other guest in turn. No swiping, no inbox, no waiting to be picked.
What the evening looks like
A host opens the room, checks everyone's camera and microphone, then starts the rounds. Each conversation lasts four minutes. When the timer ends, you move to the next person automatically.

Doors open, 15 minutes before
You test your camera, microphone and connection with the host present, so nothing breaks once the rounds begin.

Rounds of four minutes
You meet every other guest once. Never the same person twice. A conversation starter appears if the silence needs breaking.

Two taps between rounds
After each conversation you answer one question: would you want to meet again? Nobody sees your answer unless you both say yes.

Matches after the event
Mutual answers are revealed once the evening ends. Only then can either of you send a message.
